Cincinnati Preservation Young Preservationists (CPYP)

Cincinnati Preservation Young Preservationists (CPYP) is a group of young professionals dedicated to preserving Cincinnati’s history. Through programming focused on education and connection, CPYP aims to empower the region’s next generation of preservationists.
 
This group of young professionals and students come from all backgrounds with one thing in common: they all care about the built environment of their community. 

Purpose

CPYP exists to connect diverse individuals that are curious about preservation and to grow Cincinnati Preservation by:
  • Hosting engaging events that bring together preservationists of all kinds,
  • Giving young people a safe and fun space to meet and connect, and
  • Collaborating with like-minded organizations
With the goal to inform younger generations about the existing local preservation community and build future leaders in preservation.
What We Do
 
From casual meetups to community projects, CPYP creates opportunities to connect, learn, and make a difference. Programs include:
  • Happy Hours & Networking – Meet fellow preservation-minded peers in unique historic settings.
  • Hands-On Projects – Volunteer workdays and preservation-in-action events.
  • Tours –From behind-the-scenes access to buildings and bike or walking tours. we can learn about preservation and our community. 
  • Special Programing-We provide unique curated experiences to learn, celebrate and enjoy our historic city.
