Advocating for Preservation
- Effect policy and legislation as fierce preservation advocates in local, state and national arenas
- Provide trainings and resources on how to become a preservation activist
Educating Businesses, Communities and Citizens
- Engage community stakeholders and businesses to partner and invest in historic preservation efforts
- Offer programs and services that equip communities to achieve preservation
- Explain the basics of preservation through Preservation 101
- Gather preservationists by hosting events about local history, national preservation topics and practical resources
Celebrating Local History and Our Built Environment
- Highlight and protect the sites and stories of underrepresented communities through Cincinnati Sites & Stories website and app and Sites of Black History initiative
- Present annual Preservation Excellence Awards that recognize people, projects and organizations
- Steward and share the restored John Hauck House
- Maintain a Preservation Library and Resource Room
