2022 Preservation Awards

The Preservation Awards provides CPA members and friends an opportunity to gather and recognize outstanding local preservation activities.
Nominations for the Preservation Awards are accepted each year in the following categories:
Preservation Leadership: Recognizes individuals or organizations with long-term dedication to the preservation of a community or of a property.
Education: Recognizes organizations or individuals who have produced quality programs, publications, inventories, etc., promoting awareness and appreciation of historic preservation and resources.
Restoration: Recognizes owners and developers of historic buildings that have been substantially restored a part of or entire building. Restoration is having taken care to take back an element or entire building back to original design and craftsmanship.
Residential Rehabilitation: Recognizes owners and developers of historic residential buildings that have been substantially rehabilitated with preservation best practices.
Commercial Rehabilitation: Recognizes owners and developers of historic commercial and mixed use buildings that have been substantially rehabilitated with preservation best practices.
Institutional Rehabilitation: Recognizes owners and developers of institutional buildings that have been substantially rehabilitated with preservation best practices.
Adaptive Reuse: Recognizes owners and developers of historic buildings that have reused an existing building for a purpose other than which it was originally built or designed for and have done so while also incorporating historic preservation best practices.
Sustainability: Recognizes owners and developers of historic buildings that have incorporated sustainable and green technologies while also incorporating historic preservation best practices.
