CPA partnered with the Wyoming Historical Society and nearly 600 tour attendees enjoyed wandering the tree-lined lanes in this truly walkable community on Saturday, May 13th for the annual Spring House Tour.
The weather was perfect for this year’s tour highlighting a wide architectural variety of five homes ranging from an Italianate beauty built in 1865 to a charming bungalow constructed circa 1925. Featured on the tour was the Palmer-Stearns House, a High Italianate mansion atop a rolling 1.6-acre estate. One of the oldest and most historically important homes in the village, the 7,000-square-foot mansion has been beautifully restored. Two churches—one Victorian Gothic, one Mid-Century Modern– rounded out the tour and gave visitors a sense of the community and breadth of architectural styles.
