Spring House Tour

Annually, the Second Saturday in May

This year’s tour featured six unique homes in the prestigious neighborhood of East Walnut Hills and House Trends magazine produced and distributed the full-color program for the tour.  The entire tour program was featured in the April issue distributed to 50,000 readers.  If you are unfamiliar with House Trends, you may check out their website at www.housetrends.com.

As a house sponsor, your company logo, website, and telephone number will be prominently displayed in the program.  As always, house sponsors will be listed on CPA’s website, will be featured in press releases, and will have a yard sign placed in a prominent location in front of the sponsored home on the day of the tour.  In addition, this year CPA will have a storefront display at our Fourth Street office advertising the tour and the support of our generous sponsors.  Sponsorship of a house on the tour is $1,000.  

Fall Forum Luncheon

Annually in October

Part of CPA's commitment to our city is to promote intelligent civic discourse by presenting prominent national speakers at our Fall Forum. This year CPA is pleased to announced Patricia Gay,  Executive Director of the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans will be the guest speaker.  Mrs. Gay has served as Executive Director of the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans since 1980 and has been a powerful advocate for promoting the preservation of New Orleans’ historic architecture, neighborhoods, economic development and tourism. 

At last year's Fall Forum twenty-eight major local firms, companies and institutions were represented as sponsors.  An audience of nearly three hundred civic leaders heard Dean Michael Lykoudis, Notre Dame University.   Previous Fall Forum speakers include Robert Liberty, Metro Councilor, Portland, Oregon; urbanist James Howard Kunstler; William Hudnut, former Mayor of Indianapolis; and urban development expert Donovan D. Rypkema.
