Architreks Q&A

Do I have to have a reservation?
No. The scheduled guide will be at the designated starting place and fee collections are done there.

Do you take credit cards?
No. Cash or checks are accepted at the starting places.

Where can I park?

There are numerous surface and covered lots downtown near the Contemporary Arts Center. There is a surface lot that accepts a credit card just across the street from the Coffee Emporium. There is also a covered lot one block west of the Emporium at Vine and Central Parkway. Findlay parking lots are readily available around the market. In Mt. Adams, Clifton and Northside, street parking is available. Parkside Cafe allows parking in their lot for the Walnut Hills and East Walnut Hills tours.

What if it rains?
The guide will always be at the starting point. We walk unless there is lightning. We would then give a ‘rain check’.

Are there rest stops on the tours?
The tours do not include rest stops. Restroom facilities are available and drinks and snacks can be purchased at the starting places for the Downtown, Over-the-Rhine, Mt. Adams, Northside Walnut Hills, East Walnut Hills and Findlay Market tours. They are not available in Clifton.

Are the tours wheel chair accessible?
Tours take place on city streets and are completely wheel chair accessible. In fact, one wheel chair is located at the Contemporary Arts Center and is available for the use of our customers.
