Cincinnati Preservation Association, Cincinnati Preservation Collective, Over the Rhine Foundation, and Preservation Action will present a Candidates Forum on Historic Preservation on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall.
The forum will give candidates an opportunity to express their views on the role of historic preservation and our historic resources in the future of Cincinnati.  The evening will consists of two sessions: one for the mayoral candidates and one for the city council candidates. WLWT’s Courtis Fuller will be the moderator.
In each session the candidates will give an introductory statement. The moderator will then ask them questions from a prepared list of questions which will be sent to the candidates ahead of time. There will be no questions taken from the audience although candidates will be invited to stay after the forum and meet with audience members.
The candidates written responses to the questions will be posted on the Cincinnati Preservation Association website following the forum.
Candidates will not be endorsed or ranked. This is an educational and information event to provide the public with a chance to hear directly from the candidates on issues related to preservation.
